Trip Itinerary

Your Relaxation Cruise begins at the SAILNSTAY Fethiye Office at 14:00, where your crew will greet you with a warm welcome and a refreshing drink. After a short introduction and check-in, you’ll step aboard your traditional Turkish Gulet — your floating home for the week.

We set sail from Fethiye Harbour at 14:30, gliding toward Samanlik Bay or Red Island for your first swim stop. The water here is perfectly clear, the air scented with pine and salt — the ideal moment to leave the world behind and ease into the rhythm of the sea.

As the sun begins to dip, we continue to Boncuklu Bay or Tarzan Bay, peaceful anchorages surrounded by soft hills and sheltered water. This evening, dinner is freshly prepared and served on deck as the sky turns gold and rose. The hum of gentle conversation replaces music — the only soundtrack is the sound of waves lapping against the hull.

Vibe: Tranquil sailing, warm light, and your first taste of life at sea.
Pro Tip: Watch for the exact moment the sun sets behind Red Island — the colours reflect perfectly on the water.

Meals: Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Boncuklu bay or Tarzan bay

Wake to the gentle motion of the gulet and the glow of morning light on the water. As we sail along the coast, the cliffs of Butterfly Valley rise ahead — a hidden canyon known for its natural beauty and serene stillness.

Breakfast is served on deck at Butterfly Valley, surrounded by towering rock walls and the soft sound of waves. If the sea is calm, you can take a tender ashore to stroll along the small beach or relax with your coffee, taking in the view — it’s one of the most photographed spots on the Turquoise Coast for a reason.

By late morning, we continue toward Oludeniz Blue Lagoon, where turquoise water meets white sand beneath the towering slopes of Babadag Mountain. Spend time swimming, paddleboarding, or simply resting on the deck. For those seeking a touch of adventure, optional paragliding from the mountain offers breathtaking views over the lagoon and coastline.

In the afternoon, we sail to St. Nicholas Island, scattered with ancient Byzantine ruins and olive trees. You can explore the old chapel and winding paths or stay aboard to enjoy a quiet swim in the golden afternoon light. As evening falls, dinner is served under the stars — a gentle breeze, the scent of sea salt, and the distant glow of lanterns along the shore.

Vibe: Calm seas, golden sunsets, and the timeless charm of the Turkish coast.
Pro Tip: Bring light shoes for the short walk up St. Nicholas Island — the view from the top is among the best on the Mediterranean.

Meals: Breakfast (at Butterfly Valley), Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – St. Nicholas Island

The day begins gently as the gulet glides away from the anchorage in the early hours. You can stay curled up in your cabin or stretch out on deck, letting the slow rhythm of the sea ease you into the morning. As we sail westward, the coastline unfolds — quiet coves, pine-covered hills, and the golden expanse of Patara Beach, the longest stretch of sand in Turkey.

Breakfast is served at Mouse Island or Gerenlik Bay, both peaceful spots where the sea is so clear it sparkles in the morning light. Take a refreshing swim before continuing our journey toward Kas, one of the most charming towns on the Lycian Coast.

By late morning, we arrive in Kas Harbour. This is a town to savour slowly — stroll through cobblestone streets lined with bougainvillaea, browse small artisan shops, or enjoy a Turkish coffee by the waterfront. For those who wish, optional scuba diving is available here. Kas, Turkey’s dive capital, offers crystal visibility and calm conditions perfect for beginners and experienced divers alike.

After lunch on board, we sail across to Limanagzi Bay, a quiet anchorage opposite Kas, surrounded by olive trees and cliffs. Spend the afternoon swimming, reading, or simply relaxing on deck as the light softens over the sea. Dinner is served on board under the stars — peaceful, warm, and filled with the easy company of your fellow travellers.

Vibe: Serene sailing, coastal charm, and calm connection with nature.
Pro Tip: Wake early enough to watch the sunrise over Patara Beach — it’s one of the most peaceful moments of the journey.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Limanagzi Bay

The day begins softly with a morning swim at Inonu Bay, one of Kekova’s most peaceful coves. The water here is calm and crystal clear — perfect for a quiet dip before breakfast is served on deck. As the gulet lifts anchor, we sail toward the ancient ruins of Aperlai, a once-prosperous Lycian port now partly submerged beneath the sea.

We anchor at Aperlai for lunch on board, with time to swim or snorkel among the sunken harbour walls and stone foundations visible below the surface — a beautiful reminder of how history and nature blend along this timeless coast.

In the afternoon, we continue to Aquarium Bay, where the name says it all — glassy, translucent water that shimmers with every movement. Take a swim or enjoy five o’clock tea on deck as the day eases into golden light.

By evening, we arrive in Gokkaya Bay, a sheltered natural harbour surrounded by green hills. For those who wish, there’s an optional visit to Smugglers Inn, a small open-air bar on a nearby island where travellers gather for music and conversation under the stars. Or, if you prefer, stay aboard for a quiet night on deck — the gentle sway of the gulet and the starlit reflections on the water are equally unforgettable.

Vibe: Quiet discovery by day, choice of calm or connection by night.
Don’t Miss: Snorkelling over the ruins of Aperlai — it feels like gliding through an underwater museum.
Pro Tip: Whether you join the Smugglers gathering or stay aboard, look up after dark — Gokkaya’s night sky is one of the clearest on the coast.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Gokkaya Bay

Wake to another serene morning in Gokkaya Bay, sunlight reflecting on turquoise water and the gentle clink of breakfast being prepared on deck. After a leisurely start, we lift anchor and sail westward toward Burc Bay, a quiet cove surrounded by green hills and glass-clear water — ideal for a morning swim before lunch is served on board.

In the afternoon, the gulet glides toward Hamidiye Bay, a sheltered inlet known for its calm waters and unspoiled beauty. Here, time slows down again. Enjoy five o’clock tea on deck as the late-afternoon light dances on the water, or slip into the sea for a final swim before sunset.

We anchor overnight in Hamidiye Bay, where the evening unfolds in perfect peace — soft music, warm breeze, and the scent of dinner drifting from the galley. As the sun sets behind the hills, the sky fills with stars, marking one of the most tranquil nights of your cruise.

Vibe: Quiet waters, golden light, and a perfect pause before the journey’s final chapter.
Don’t Miss: A sunset swim in Hamidiye — the bay glows amber and blue as day turns to night.
Pro Tip: Tonight is for pure rest — enjoy the stillness, the stars, and the soft sounds of the sea.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Hamidiye Bay

The final morning begins with a peaceful breakfast at Hamidiye Bay, its turquoise waters glimmering in the soft early light. After breakfast, we sail toward Ucagiz Village, a tranquil harbour surrounded by olive groves and ancient Lycian ruins. We’ll anchor here for about 1 hour, giving you time to stroll through the quiet lanes or join the optional sea kayaking tour, paddling through the calm bays and historic remains of Kekova.

By midday, the gulet reunites with the kayaking group at Simena, a postcard-perfect village crowned by a hilltop castle. Climb to the top for sweeping views across Kekova’s islands and turquoise inlets, and on your way, pause to enjoy the homemade ice cream prepared by local families — a small, sweet tradition of the Lycian coast.

After a relaxed lunch on board, we sail past the Sunken City of Kekova, a hauntingly beautiful archaeological site where ancient walls and staircases lie beneath the clear blue sea — an unforgettable sight from the deck.

In the late afternoon, we anchor at Katir Pier for a final swim and five o’clock tea, before heading toward our last overnight stop. Depending on the sea conditions, we anchor at Karaloz Bay, a wild, secluded cove, or Danamusa Bay, a calm, sheltered inlet surrounded by untouched nature.

As the sun sets, the crew prepares a farewell BBQ dinner on deck — a warm and peaceful evening filled with shared memories, gentle laughter, and the soft glow of lanterns reflected on the water.

Vibe: Coastal charm, quiet exploration, and a heartfelt farewell beneath the stars.
Don’t Miss: The panoramic view from Simena Castle — it’s one of the defining scenes of the Turkish coast.
Pro Tip: Stay up late on your final night — the stars at Karaloz Bay are remarkably bright.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Karaloz Bay or Danamusa Bay

Your final morning at sea begins with the soft rhythm of the waves and breakfast served on deck as the gulet gently makes its way toward the intriguing Pirate Cave, a hidden sea grotto once believed to have sheltered smugglers and sailors. After a short pause for photos, we continue to Buzaglik Bay or Camlik Bay, peaceful coves surrounded by pine forest — perfect for one last swim before lunch on board.

In the early afternoon, we set course for Turtle Beach arriving around 15:00, a natural nesting ground for the endangered Caretta Caretta turtles. Keep your eyes on the water — it’s common to see them surfacing nearby as we drift past.

By 16:00, we arrive at Demre Harbour, where your crew will assist with farewells and onward travel.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Disembarkation: Demre Harbour ≈ 16:00

Pre-Travel Resources

Everything you need to prepare for your cruise — pick-ups, meeting points, travel requirements, and onboard guidelines:

Our Gulet Fleet

You’ll be sailing on one of our handpicked Turkish wooden Gulets — traditional boats with chill social spaces, sunbeds for lounging, and a shaded dining area where the crew serves up fresh meals daily. Every Gulet has its own layout and charm, but they’re all in the same comfort class — clean, comfortable, and made for slow cruising. Your onboard crew (captain, chef, and deckhand) are pros at keeping things smooth, safe, and fun. Want a peek inside? → See Cabins Onboard

Sample images shown. Gulet layouts and styles may vary slightly by departure.

Cabins Onboard

Each cabin is private and ensuite, with a twin, double, triple, or quad bed, your own bathroom, and just enough space to keep things simple. It’s not luxury — it’s clean, compact, and precisely what you need after a full day in the sun. Some bathrooms have a wet-room layout where the shower and toilet share the same space, while others may include a curtain or small divider. We provide fresh bed linen and bath towels, but please bring your own beach towel for swimming and sunbathing.

Cabin layouts, sizes, and finishes may vary slightly depending on the Gulet. All cabins are in the same comfort class.

More on dietary options | More on water policy

Yes, we do.

Our Standard Mediterranean Menu (included) naturally supports vegetarian and pescetarian guests.

For guests requiring vegan, gluten-free, or more specific dietary preparation, we offer a Special Dietary Menu Upgrade. This allows us to source dedicated ingredients and prepare meals accordingly.

Please select your preference during booking so our team can prepare in advance. Dietary requests must be confirmed at least 72 hours before departure.

Kindly note that meals are prepared in a compact onboard galley, and while we take great care, cross-contamination cannot be fully guaranteed.

Yes — drinking water is provided during all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

To help reduce plastic waste onboard, we kindly ask guests to bring a reusable water bottle, which can be refilled throughout the day from shared water containers on the gulet.

Bottled water is not served between meals unless otherwise noted.

Couples would get their own cabin. Depending on your group breakdown, solo travellers will share and may be roomed in a twin, double, triple or quad cabin.

If you are a couple, please add a note during booking.

Accommodation in multi-share cabins is included on this trip. Depending on availability, you may upgrade to a private triple/twin/double ensuite cabin.

Yes, you can change your departure date, depending on availability. A small fee will apply and, if the new departure date is more expensive, this difference will also need to be paid. You may also transfer the money you have already paid over to another trip of the same or higher value, provided it is outside of the notification period.

To ensure you have enough room to move around your cabin, we recommend you bring a small to medium-sized suitcase or backpack.

Due to boat licensing laws, you are not able to bring your own alcohol on the vessel. However, well-priced drinks are available for you to purchase on board using a tab system, which needs to be paid the day you check-out.

On all of our gulet cruises, we offer a traditional Turkish breakfast, a vegetarian lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, which are included in the price.
We offer Jain, Vegetarian, Vegan, Halal and Kosher food options on request.
You are welcome to bring extra snacks for the journey. Drinks can only be purchased on board on a tab basis, paid on the day you disembark.

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring your own drinks on board (including water) but you can bring your own snacks, such as peanuts, crisps, biscuits etc.

Bar Payments: Please keep in mind that you will need to have cash available to cover any expenses at the bar during the trip. The bar payments will be settled on the final day of the journey. It is possible that there won’t be any ATMs available at the ports, so it is best to plan accordingly. However, do not worry about withdrawing cash at the outset as there are ATMs in Kas Port town that will become accessible on the second day of the journey.

Some boats have power sockets in the cabins while other vessels only have them only in the salon area. The power sockets can be used when the engine or generator is on.

Beach Towels not provided: Please be advised that we do not provide beach towels on board. We kindly request that you bring your own towels for use at the beach. While bath towels are available, they should not be used for the beach. Please note that shops selling towels are easily found in every town throughout Turkey.

Gulet boats have limited energy resources, which is why it’s recommended to limit the use of air conditioning to 4-6 hours per day. This will help conserve fuel and optimize the efficiency of the boat. It will also extend the lifespan of the generator and support eco-friendly practices by relying on natural ventilation. Running the generator at night can be quite noisy and disruptive to other passengers. Therefore, it’s important to strike a balance between guest comfort and environmental responsibility.

Yes! If you book all 16 spots, the Gulet becomes completely private for your group.

The total boat price is shown in the pricing table under “Private Use – Whole Boat.”

That means:

  • No other guests
  • Same epic route
  • Same crew
  • Just your crew onboard 😉

To make the cruise exclusive, all 16 berths need to be booked.
If you’re a smaller group and want full privacy, you can still book the whole boat at the total private price.
