From ancient ports to island sunsets — a serene journey along Turkiye’s Lycian Coast.

A tranquil four-night sailing experience designed for travellers aged 35 and above who seek balance, beauty, and calm discovery along Turkiye’s Lycian Coast.

Departing from Demre, this westbound cruise follows the most picturesque section of the Turquoise Coast, where ancient ruins, quiet bays, and timeless villages meet the rhythm of the Mediterranean. Over four days, explore the Sunken City of Kekova, wander through Simena Castle, swim in secluded coves like Gokkaya Bay, Aperlai, and Inonu Bay, and end your journey in the coastal haven of Kas Turkey — known for its gentle charm, boutique cafés, and golden sunsets.

For travellers wishing to sail further, the journey continues seamlessly aboard the same gulet with our Demre to Fethiye Relaxation Cruise (6 Nights) — extending your adventure to include Butterfly Valley, the Blue Lagoon (Oludeniz), and St. Nicholas Island before arriving in Fethiye.

Every day flows naturally — mornings begin with coffee on deck, afternoons bring crystal swims and coastal walks, and evenings end under starlit skies with freshly prepared dinners and quiet conversation.

Trip Itinerary

Your SAILNSTAY Relaxation Cruise begins with a complimentary shuttle transfer from Antalya, Olympos Junction, or Cirali Junction — making your arrival easy and worry-free. The drive follows one of Turkey’s most scenic coastal roads, where mountains meet the Mediterranean. You’ll arrive at Demre Harbour around 14:30, ready to begin your journey at sea. (Learn more about our Complimentary Shuttle Service)

At the harbour, your friendly crew welcomes you aboard your traditional Turkish Gulet — a beautifully crafted wooden yacht designed for comfort and serenity. After settling into your cabin, we set sail at 15:00, gliding west through turquoise waters.

Our first stop is Turtle Beach, a peaceful nesting ground for the endangered Caretta Caretta turtles. Experience the joy of swimming in the sparkling Mediterranean or relax on deck with a refreshing drink as you enjoy the breathtaking coastline.

After five o’clock tea, we continue toward Danamusa Bay, depending on sea conditions. Both offer calm anchorages surrounded by pine-covered cliffs — the perfect place for your first sunset at sea. Dinner is freshly prepared and served on deck as the stars begin to appear, followed by a peaceful evening under the night sky.

Vibe: Gentle sailing, warm hospitality, and a tranquil start to your Mediterranean journey.
Pro Tip: Keep your camera ready at Turtle Beach — it’s common to see turtles surfacing alongside the Gulet.

Meals: Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Danamusa Bay

The morning unfolds gently in Danamusa Bay — soft light across the water, the quiet hum of breakfast being prepared, and the first calm moments of the day. After breakfast, we sail toward Ucagiz Village, a small harbour framed by olive trees and dotted with traditional stone houses.

We anchor here for about 1.5 hours, giving you time to stroll the waterfront, visit local shops, or enjoy a Turkish coffee as village life drifts by. For those seeking a touch of adventure, an optional sea kayaking tour departs from Ucagiz at 09:00, gliding over the Sunken City of Kekova — an ancient Lycian settlement now resting beneath the sea’s surface, visible in the clear turquoise water.

While kayakers trace the coast, our gulet sails peacefully across the same tranquil bay, reuniting near Simena (Kalekoy) — a postcard-perfect village where stone houses climb toward a hilltop castle. Lunch is served on board, followed by two hours to explore the village and its castle. The walk to the top rewards you with sweeping views across the Kekova archipelago — a serene panorama of sea, islands, and sky.

By late afternoon, we set course for Kocakari Bay, a quiet cove surrounded by rugged cliffs and pine forest. As the anchor drops, the day slows completely. Dinner is served on deck, the air is warm and still, and the stars soon reflect in the dark water — a peaceful close to a day filled with natural beauty and ancient wonder.

Vibe: History, harmony, and the quiet rhythm of coastal life.
Pro Tip: Wear comfortable shoes for the Simena walk — the view from the castle is among the most rewarding on the Lycian Coast.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Kocakari Bay

The day begins with gentle light across the water as the gulet glides westward. Enjoy breakfast on deck while we sail toward Aquarium Bay, where glass-clear turquoise water shimmers beneath the morning sun. Take a refreshing swim, or enjoy a slow start to the day, surrounded by the peace of the open sea.

By late morning, we drift above the Sunken City of Kekova, an ancient Lycian town now resting quietly beneath the surface. From the deck, you can clearly see the outlines of stairways, walls, and harbours that have slept underwater for centuries — a moment of history and stillness combined.

We anchor at Katir Pier for lunch, where you can swim in calm water and savour the scenery — a landscape of rolling hills and sheltered inlets. In the afternoon, we continue toward Burc Bay for our traditional five o’clock tea. This tranquil cove, surrounded by pine forest, is perfect for floating in the sea or reading on deck as the day slows down.

As evening approaches, we sail into Gokkaya Bay, a wide, serene anchorage framed by small islands and soft hills. After dinner, those who wish may take a short boat ride to Smugglers Inn, a relaxed, open-air bar accessible only by sea. It’s an easy, social evening — gentle music, warm night air, and conversation beneath the stars.

Vibe: Tranquil exploration, soft sailing, and easy evenings by the sea.
Optional Activity: Watersports or a relaxed visit to Smugglers Inn.
Pro Tip: Bring a light jacket — the night breeze across Gokkaya Bay is refreshing and peaceful.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Gokkaya Bay

Wake slowly to the stillness of Gokkaya Bay, where the water lies smooth as glass and the air carries only the sound of seabirds and gentle waves. Breakfast is served on deck as the Gulet drifts westward — sunlight filtering through the pines, the scent of the sea filling the air.

By midday, we anchor at Camli Bay, a peaceful inlet surrounded by forested hills. The water here is calm and inviting — perfect for an unhurried swim before lunch. Enjoy a freshly prepared meal on board, paired with sea breeze and quiet conversation.

In the afternoon, we set course for Karaloz Bay, one of the coast’s most remote and beautiful anchorages. Framed by cliffs and wild pine slopes, the bay feels completely removed from the world. The afternoon is yours — swim in clear turquoise water, read on deck, or rest in the shade with the sound of waves against the hull.

As the light softens, we serve five o’clock tea followed by dinner on deck. With no towns or artificial lights nearby, the night sky at Karaloz is spectacular — a dome of stars reflected on the still water. This is the essence of the Relaxation Cruise: peaceful, timeless, and deeply restorative.

Vibe: Still waters, soft light, and the quiet comfort of nature.
Pro Tip: After dinner, step to the bow and look up — the starlight in Karaloz Bay is among the clearest you’ll ever see.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Karaloz Bay

Wake to the soft sound of the sea in Karaloz Bay, where the morning light glows gently over the cliffs. After breakfast, we sail toward Aperlai, an ancient Lycian port now half-submerged beneath the turquoise water.

We anchor here for breakfast on deck — surrounded by history and nature at its most peaceful. Afterwards, enjoy a quiet swim or snorkel above the ruins; the outlines of old harbour walls and stone buildings are still visible beneath the surface, offering a glimpse into the ancient world.

By late morning, we continue to Inonu Bay, a serene anchorage embraced by pine-covered slopes. The water is calm and glassy — perfect for a midday swim before a leisurely lunch served on board.

In the afternoon, we sail westward toward Kas, one of Turkiye’s most beautiful harbour towns. We arrive at Kas Harbour around 15:00, marking the close of your four-night journey. Take a gentle stroll through town — cobbled lanes, boutique shops, and seaside cafés invite you to linger just a little longer before you say goodbye to the sea.

For travellers wishing to continue onward, your gulet will sail on toward Fethiye as part of the extended Demre to Fethiye Relaxation Cruise (6 Nights) — including stops at Butterfly Valley, the Blue Lagoon (Oludeniz), and St. Nicholas Island.

Vibe: A graceful finish — ancient ruins, tranquil bays, and the warm charm of Kas Turkey.
Pro Tip: Stay an extra night in Kas Turkey to enjoy dinner by the harbour and watch the gulets return at sunset — the perfect closing scene to your Lycian journey.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Disembarkation: Kas Harbour ≈ 15:00

Pre-Travel Resources

Everything you need to prepare for your cruise — pick-ups, meeting points, travel requirements, and onboard guidelines:

Our Gulet Fleet

You’ll be sailing on one of our handpicked Turkish wooden Gulets — traditional boats with chill social spaces, sunbeds for lounging, and a shaded dining area where the crew serves up fresh meals daily. Every Gulet has its own layout and charm, but they’re all in the same comfort class — clean, comfortable, and made for slow cruising. Your onboard crew (captain, chef, and deckhand) are pros at keeping things smooth, safe, and fun. Want a peek inside? → See Cabins Onboard

Sample images shown. Gulet layouts and styles may vary slightly by departure.

Cabins Onboard

Each cabin is private and ensuite, with a twin, double, triple, or quad bed, your own bathroom, and just enough space to keep things simple. It’s not luxury — it’s clean, compact, and precisely what you need after a full day in the sun. Some bathrooms have a wet-room layout where the shower and toilet share the same space, while others may include a curtain or small divider. We provide fresh bed linen and bath towels, but please bring your own beach towel for swimming and sunbathing.

Cabin layouts, sizes, and finishes may vary slightly depending on the Gulet. All cabins are in the same comfort class.

More on dietary options | More on water policy

Yes! We can cater to most dietary needs such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and more.

When booking, you can select your dietary preference from the options listed.
If your diet is not listed, simply add a note in the reservation comments box or email us after booking.

Some special diets like gluten-free or vegan may require hard-to-find ingredients in Turkey. In these cases, a small surcharge may apply — we’ll inform you before the trip.

The more detail you give us, the better we can prepare delicious meals for your cruise.

Yes — drinking water is provided during all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

To help reduce plastic waste onboard, we kindly ask guests to bring a reusable water bottle, which can be refilled throughout the day from shared water containers on the gulet.

Bottled water is not served between meals unless otherwise noted.

Couples would get their own cabin. Depending on your group breakdown, solo travellers will share and may be roomed in a twin, double, triple or quad cabin.

If you are a couple, please add a note during booking.

Accommodation in multi-share cabins is included on this trip. Depending on availability, you may upgrade to a private triple/twin/double ensuite cabin.

Yes, you can change your departure date, depending on availability. A small fee will apply and, if the new departure date is more expensive, this difference will also need to be paid. You may also transfer the money you have already paid over to another trip of the same or higher value, provided it is outside of the notification period.

To ensure you have enough room to move around your cabin, we recommend you bring a small to medium-sized suitcase or backpack.

Due to boat licensing laws, you are not able to bring your own alcohol on the vessel. However, well-priced drinks are available for you to purchase on board using a tab system, which needs to be paid the day you check-out.

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring your own drinks on board (including water) but you can bring your own snacks, such as peanuts, crisps, biscuits etc.

Bar Payments: Please keep in mind that you will need to have cash available to cover any expenses at the bar during the trip. The bar payments will be settled on the final day of the journey. It is possible that there won’t be any ATMs available at the ports, so it is best to plan accordingly. However, do not worry about withdrawing cash at the outset as there are ATMs in Kas Port town that will become accessible on the second day of the journey.

Some boats have power sockets in the cabins while other vessels only have them only in the salon area. The power sockets can be used when the engine or generator is on.

Beach Towels not provided: Please be advised that we do not provide beach towels on board. We kindly request that you bring your own towels for use at the beach. While bath towels are available, they should not be used for the beach. Please note that shops selling towels are easily found in every town throughout Turkey.

Gulet boats have limited energy resources, which is why it’s recommended to limit the use of air conditioning to 4-6 hours per day. This will help conserve fuel and optimize the efficiency of the boat. It will also extend the lifespan of the generator and support eco-friendly practices by relying on natural ventilation. Running the generator at night can be quite noisy and disruptive to other passengers. Therefore, it’s important to strike a balance between guest comfort and environmental responsibility.

Yes! If you book all 16 spots, the Gulet becomes completely private for your group.

The total boat price is shown in the pricing table under “Private Use – Whole Boat.”

That means:

  • No other guests
  • Same epic route
  • Same crew
  • Just your crew onboard 😉

To make the cruise exclusive, all 16 berths need to be booked.
If you’re a smaller group and want full privacy, you can still book the whole boat at the total private price.
