35+ Relaxation Cruise: Demre to Fethiye

From ancient ports to island sunsets — a serene journey along Turkiye’s Lycian Coast.

Begin your voyage in Demre, where the Taurus Mountains meet the sea, and sail west through one of Turkiye’s most captivating coastlines. Over six peaceful nights, experience the quiet grace of the Kekova region, the timeless views from Simena Castle, the charm of Kas, and the soft evening glow of St. Nicholas Island and the Blue Lagoon of Oludeniz. Every day brings something new — a tranquil bay, a fresh horizon, a slower rhythm — no repeats, no rush, just the natural flow of the Mediterranean.

Created for travellers aged 35 and above, this one-way cruise blends cultural discovery with pure relaxation — mornings for swimming and exploring, afternoons for gentle sailing through turquoise waters, and evenings for dining beneath the stars with the sound of the sea all around.

Before departure, guests enjoy complimentary transfers to Demre Harbour from Antalya, Olympos Junction, or Cirali Junction, offering an easy connection from Antalya, Cappadocia, or Konya. The journey concludes in Fethiye, perfectly placed for onward travel to Pamukkale, Ephesus, or Istanbul — or simply to extend your stay on the coast before flying home from Dalaman Airport.

Prefer to start from the west?
Our Fethiye to Demre Relaxation Cruise (6 Nights) follows the same route eastward, offering new light, fresh perspectives, and smooth onward travel toward Antalya and beyond.

Trip Itinerary

Your SAILNSTAY Relaxation Cruise begins with a complimentary shuttle transfer from Antalya, Olympos Junction, or Cirali Junction to Demre — making your arrival easy and worry-free. The drive follows one of Turkey’s most scenic coastal roads, where mountains meet the Mediterranean. You’ll arrive at Demre Harbour around 14:30, ready to begin your journey at sea. (Learn more about our Complimentary Shuttle Service)

At the harbour, your friendly crew welcomes you aboard your traditional Turkish Gulet — a beautifully crafted wooden yacht designed for comfort and serenity. After settling into your cabin, we set sail at 15:00, gliding west through turquoise waters.

Our first stop is Turtle Beach, a peaceful nesting ground for the endangered Caretta Caretta turtles. Experience the joy of swimming in the sparkling Mediterranean or relax on deck with a refreshing drink as you enjoy the breathtaking coastline.

After five o’clock tea, we continue toward Danamusa Bay, depending on sea conditions. Both offer calm anchorages surrounded by pine-covered cliffs — the perfect place for your first sunset at sea. Dinner is freshly prepared and served on deck as the stars begin to appear, followed by a peaceful evening under the night sky.

Vibe: Gentle sailing, warm hospitality, and a tranquil start to your Mediterranean journey.
Pro Tip: Keep your camera ready at Turtle Beach — it’s common to see turtles surfacing alongside the Gulet.

Meals: Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Danamusa Bay

The morning unfolds gently in Danamusa Bay — soft light across the water, the quiet hum of breakfast being prepared, and the first calm moments of the day. After breakfast, we sail toward Ucagiz Village, a small harbour framed by olive trees and dotted with traditional stone houses.

We anchor here for about 1.5 hours, giving you time to stroll the waterfront, visit local shops, or enjoy a Turkish coffee as village life drifts by. For those seeking a touch of adventure, an optional sea kayaking tour departs from Ucagiz at 09:00, gliding over the Sunken City of Kekova — an ancient Lycian settlement now resting beneath the sea’s surface, visible in the clear turquoise water.

While kayakers trace the coast, our gulet sails peacefully across the same tranquil bay, reuniting near Simena (Kalekoy) — a postcard-perfect village where stone houses climb toward a hilltop castle. Lunch is served on board, followed by two hours to explore the village and its castle. The walk to the top rewards you with sweeping views across the Kekova archipelago — a serene panorama of sea, islands, and sky.

By late afternoon, we set course for Kocakari Bay, a quiet cove surrounded by rugged cliffs and pine forest. As the anchor drops, the day slows completely. Dinner is served on deck, the air is warm and still, and the stars soon reflect in the dark water — a peaceful close to a day filled with natural beauty and ancient wonder.

Vibe: History, harmony, and the quiet rhythm of coastal life.
Pro Tip: Wear comfortable shoes for the Simena walk — the view from the castle is among the most rewarding on the Lycian Coast.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Kocakari Bay

The day begins with gentle light across the water as the gulet glides westward. Enjoy breakfast on deck while we sail toward Aquarium Bay, where glass-clear turquoise water shimmers beneath the morning sun. Take a refreshing swim, or enjoy a slow start to the day, surrounded by the peace of the open sea.

By late morning, we drift above the Sunken City of Kekova, an ancient Lycian town now resting quietly beneath the surface. From the deck, you can clearly see the outlines of stairways, walls, and harbours that have slept underwater for centuries — a moment of history and stillness combined.

We anchor at Katir Pier for lunch, where you can swim in calm water and savour the scenery — a landscape of rolling hills and sheltered inlets. In the afternoon, we continue toward Burc Bay for our traditional five o’clock tea. This tranquil cove, surrounded by pine forest, is perfect for floating in the sea or reading on deck as the day slows down.

As evening approaches, we sail into Gokkaya Bay, a wide, serene anchorage framed by small islands and soft hills. After dinner, those who wish may take a short boat ride to Smugglers Inn, a relaxed, open-air bar accessible only by sea. It’s an easy, social evening — gentle music, warm night air, and conversation beneath the stars.

Vibe: Tranquil exploration, soft sailing, and easy evenings by the sea.
Optional Activity: Watersports or a relaxed visit to Smugglers Inn.
Pro Tip: Bring a light jacket — the night breeze across Gokkaya Bay is refreshing and peaceful.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Gokkaya Bay

Wake slowly to the stillness of Gokkaya Bay, where the water lies smooth as glass and the air carries only the sound of seabirds and gentle waves. Breakfast is served on deck as the Gulet drifts westward — sunlight filtering through the pines, the scent of the sea filling the air.

By midday, we anchor at Camli Bay, a peaceful inlet surrounded by forested hills. The water here is calm and inviting — perfect for an unhurried swim before lunch. Enjoy a freshly prepared meal on board, paired with sea breeze and quiet conversation.

In the afternoon, we set course for Karaloz Bay, one of the coast’s most remote and beautiful anchorages. Framed by cliffs and wild pine slopes, the bay feels completely removed from the world. The afternoon is yours — swim in clear turquoise water, read on deck, or rest in the shade with the sound of waves against the hull.

As the light softens, we serve five o’clock tea followed by dinner on deck. With no towns or artificial lights nearby, the night sky at Karaloz is spectacular — a dome of stars reflected on the still water. This is the essence of the Relaxation Cruise: peaceful, timeless, and deeply restorative.

Vibe: Still waters, soft light, and the quiet comfort of nature.
Pro Tip: After dinner, step to the bow and look up — the starlight in Karaloz Bay is among the clearest you’ll ever see.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Karaloz Bay

Wake to the gentle sound of the waves in Karaloz Bay, where the first light of morning glows softly over the hills. We set sail early toward Aperlai, an ancient Lycian port now half-submerged beneath the sea.

Breakfast is served on deck here — calm water, untouched landscape, and the quiet beauty of a bay steeped in history. Afterwards, enjoy a swim or snorkel over the ruins of this once-thriving city; you can still see the outlines of walls, harbours, and stone structures beneath the crystal-clear water.

By late morning, we continue to Inonu Bay, a peaceful anchorage surrounded by cliffs and pine forest. Relax on deck as the crew prepares lunch — simple, fresh, and best enjoyed with a sea breeze.

In the early afternoon, we sail to Kas, one of the Turkish Riviera’s most charming towns. You’ll have around 1.5 hours to explore — wander the cobbled lanes, discover small artisan shops, or enjoy Turkish coffee by the harbour.

Later, we make our way to Limanagzi Bay or Hidayet Bay, tranquil inlets just outside Kas. The water here is calm and inviting — perfect for a late swim before five o’clock tea. As the sun dips low, dinner is served on deck. It’s a peaceful evening — warm breeze, soft light, and the quiet comfort of the sea.

Vibe: A day of slow discovery — ancient history, coastal charm, and timeless stillness.
Pro Tip: Bring your snorkel for Aperlai — the ruins beneath the surface are one of the coast’s hidden treasures.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – Limanagzi Bay or Hidayet Bay

Wake to the soft movement of the gulet as we sail westward beneath the first light of day. The coastline glows golden as we pass Patara Beach, a 20-kilometre stretch of untouched sand where the mountains meet the sea. Sip your morning coffee on deck, breathe in the fresh salt air, and watch the sun rise slowly over the Mediterranean — a moment of pure calm.

By mid-morning, we arrive at Butterfly Valley, one of Turkey’s most enchanting natural wonders. Breakfast is served on deck against a backdrop of cliffs and turquoise water. Afterwards, take a swim or a gentle stroll along the beach to the base of the canyon — a hidden world of waterfalls and wildflowers.

Late in the morning, we sail to Oludeniz Blue Lagoon, world-famous for its still, crystal-clear water and striking mountain setting. The scene invites relaxation — a quiet swim, paddleboard, or simply resting on deck as the gulet drifts at anchor. For those seeking a little adventure, optional paragliding from Babadag Mountain (2,000 m) offers an unforgettable bird’s-eye view of the coast.

After lunch at Soguksu Bay or Camel Beach, the afternoon slows into a peaceful rhythm as we sail toward St. Nicholas Island, our final overnight stop. Scattered with ancient Byzantine ruins and surrounded by calm blue water, the island feels timeless. Take the short walk to the chapel ruins for sunset — a golden panorama stretching across the bays you’ve sailed through all week.

Dinner is served on deck under a blanket of stars — a quiet celebration of shared journeys, new friendships, and the slow beauty of life at sea.

Vibe: Sunrise, calm, natural splendour, and quiet reflection on your final evening.
Pro Tip: Wear comfortable shoes for the sunset walk at St. Nicholas Island — the view from the top is one of the most beautiful on the entire Lycian Coast.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet – St. Nicholas Island

Your final morning begins softly — the quiet lap of the sea, the scent of freshly brewed coffee, and the gentle movement of the Gulet beneath your feet. We sail early toward Boncuklu Bay or Tarzan Bay, two of Fethiye’s most beloved hidden coves. The water here is crystal-clear and perfectly still — ideal for a morning swim or simply soaking in the peace of the moment.

Breakfast is served on deck as the sun rises over the pine-covered hills. Some guests take one last dip, others linger with their coffee, enjoying the view and the easy rhythm of the sea.

By midday, we glide toward Samanlik Bay for lunch and one final swim in the Mediterranean. It’s a fitting farewell — calm, unhurried, and touched by the same natural beauty that has carried you along the coast all week.

In the afternoon, we make our gentle approach into Fethiye Harbour, arriving around 16:00. The crew ties the lines, the engines fall silent, and there’s time for photos, goodbyes, and quiet reflection. After days of sun, sea, and new horizons, you return with something timeless — the serenity of the coast and the memories of people who shared it with you.

Vibe: Graceful endings — a final swim, heartfelt goodbyes, and the peaceful rhythm of return.
Pro Tip: Keep your swimsuit handy — there’s always time for one last swim before you step ashore.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Disembarkation: Fethiye Harbour ≈ 16:00

Your Journey Continues

As the gulet glides into Fethiye Harbour and the sails fall quiet, your voyage along the Turquoise Coast draws to a graceful close — but your story in Türkiye doesn’t have to end here.

From Fethiye, it’s easy to follow the coastline inland toward new horizons: the white terraces of Pamukkale, the ancient city of Ephesus, or the cultural heartbeat of Istanbul. For travellers flying onward, Dalaman Airport is just a short drive away — ideal for smooth connections or a final night by the sea.

If you prefer to linger, Fethiye offers a gentle landing after days at sea. Stroll along the old harbour, explore the colourful markets, or enjoy a quiet dinner by the waterfront as the sun sets over the bay.

Pre-Travel Resources

Everything you need to prepare for your cruise — pick-ups, meeting points, travel requirements, and onboard guidelines:

Our Gulet Fleet

You’ll be sailing on one of our handpicked Turkish wooden Gulets — traditional boats with chill social spaces, sunbeds for lounging, and a shaded dining area where the crew serves up fresh meals daily. Every Gulet has its own layout and charm, but they’re all in the same comfort class — clean, comfortable, and made for slow cruising. Your onboard crew (captain, chef, and deckhand) are pros at keeping things smooth, safe, and fun. Want a peek inside? → See Cabins Onboard

Sample images shown. Gulet layouts and styles may vary slightly by departure.

Cabins Onboard

Each cabin is private and ensuite, with a twin, double, triple, or quad bed, your own bathroom, and just enough space to keep things simple. It’s not luxury — it’s clean, compact, and precisely what you need after a full day in the sun. Some bathrooms have a wet-room layout where the shower and toilet share the same space, while others may include a curtain or small divider. We provide fresh bed linen and bath towels, but please bring your own beach towel for swimming and sunbathing.

Cabin layouts, sizes, and finishes may vary slightly depending on the Gulet. All cabins are in the same comfort class.

More on dietary options | More on water policy

Yes! We can cater to most dietary needs such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and more.

When booking, you can select your dietary preference from the options listed.
If your diet is not listed, simply add a note in the reservation comments box or email us after booking.

Some special diets like gluten-free or vegan may require hard-to-find ingredients in Turkey. In these cases, a small surcharge may apply — we’ll inform you before the trip.

The more detail you give us, the better we can prepare delicious meals for your cruise.

Yes — drinking water is provided during all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

To help reduce plastic waste onboard, we kindly ask guests to bring a reusable water bottle, which can be refilled throughout the day from shared water containers on the gulet.

Bottled water is not served between meals unless otherwise noted.

Couples would get their own cabin. Depending on your group breakdown, solo travellers will share and may be roomed in a twin, double, triple or quad cabin.

If you are a couple, please add a note during booking.

Accommodation in multi-share cabins is included on this trip. Depending on availability, you may upgrade to a private triple/twin/double ensuite cabin.

Yes, you can change your departure date, depending on availability. A small fee will apply and, if the new departure date is more expensive, this difference will also need to be paid. You may also transfer the money you have already paid over to another trip of the same or higher value, provided it is outside of the notification period.

To ensure you have enough room to move around your cabin, we recommend you bring a small to medium-sized suitcase or backpack.

Due to boat licensing laws, you are not able to bring your own alcohol on the vessel. However, well-priced drinks are available for you to purchase on board using a tab system, which needs to be paid the day you check-out.

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring your own drinks on board (including water) but you can bring your own snacks, such as peanuts, crisps, biscuits etc.

Bar Payments: Please keep in mind that you will need to have cash available to cover any expenses at the bar during the trip. The bar payments will be settled on the final day of the journey. It is possible that there won’t be any ATMs available at the ports, so it is best to plan accordingly. However, do not worry about withdrawing cash at the outset as there are ATMs in Kas Port town that will become accessible on the second day of the journey.

Some boats have power sockets in the cabins while other vessels only have them only in the salon area. The power sockets can be used when the engine or generator is on.

Beach Towels not provided: Please be advised that we do not provide beach towels on board. We kindly request that you bring your own towels for use at the beach. While bath towels are available, they should not be used for the beach. Please note that shops selling towels are easily found in every town throughout Turkey.

Gulet boats have limited energy resources, which is why it’s recommended to limit the use of air conditioning to 4-6 hours per day. This will help conserve fuel and optimize the efficiency of the boat. It will also extend the lifespan of the generator and support eco-friendly practices by relying on natural ventilation. Running the generator at night can be quite noisy and disruptive to other passengers. Therefore, it’s important to strike a balance between guest comfort and environmental responsibility.

Yes! If you book all 16 spots, the Gulet becomes completely private for your group.

The total boat price is shown in the pricing table under “Private Use – Whole Boat.”
