Mixed-Age Cruise: Fethiye–Kekova–Fethiye

Experience the best of Turkey’s Turquoise Coast on a beautifully balanced 6-night Gulet cruise designed for travellers of all ages who enjoy nature, culture, comfort, and slow coastal sailing.

This round-trip itinerary follows our two signature one-way routes
Fethiye to Olympos and Olympos to Fethiye — combining them into one seamless journey that explores the coastline in both directions. You’ll enjoy different swim stops, new anchorages, and fresh perspectives on the return leg without ever feeling rushed.

Sail from Fethiye to Butterfly Valley, the Blue Lagoon (Ölüdeniz), St. Nicholas Island, Kaş, and the stunning bays of Kekova. Explore Simena Castle, glide over the Sunken City, and swim in calm turquoise coves surrounded by untouched scenery. On the return, your captain selects a variety of sheltered bays and quieter anchor points — perfect for reading, photography, or simply letting the sea set the pace.

Each day blends gentle adventure with peaceful moments, and each evening ends with dinner under the stars, friendly conversation, and the soothing rhythm of the Mediterranean.

Day by day Trip Itinerary

Your journey begins at the SAILNSTAY Fethiye Office at 14:00, where your crew welcomes you aboard your traditional Turkish Gulet. After a relaxed check-in and brief orientation, we depart Fethiye Harbour at 14:30 to begin your coastal voyage along Türkiye’s iconic Turquoise Coast.

Our first stop is Samanlik Bay or Red Island (Kizilada) — a peaceful bay perfect for your first swim. The water is clear and calm in the shoulder seasons, offering a refreshing introduction to life at sea. Take a dip, enjoy the serenity, or settle into a comfortable spot on deck as the Gulet eases into its rhythm.

Later, we sail toward Boncuklu Bay or Tarzan Bay, where we anchor for the night. These sheltered bays are ideal for low-season cruising — quiet, scenic, and full of gentle colours as the sun begins to set. Enjoy your first evening with a freshly prepared dinner under the stars, sharing the deck with travellers of all ages who are here for the same reason: to unwind, explore, and enjoy the coast at a slower pace.

Vibe: Peaceful sailing, soft light, quiet coves, and the perfect gentle start to your week.
Pro Tip: As the sun sets behind Red Island, the water reflects shades of copper and rose — it’s one of the coast’s most underrated sunsets.

Meals: Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Overnight: Turkish Gulet

Wake to the gentle motion of the sea and the morning sun casting warm light across the cliffs. We set sail early for Butterfly Valley, one of Türkiye’s most breathtaking natural wonders—a hidden canyon framed by towering limestone walls.

Breakfast is served on deck at Butterfly Valley, with the sound of waves against the Gulet and views of waterfalls trickling down the cliffs. After breakfast, enjoy a refreshing swim or take a short walk ashore to the beach for photos before we continue our journey.

By late morning, we cruise into the calm waters of the Blue Lagoon (Ölüdeniz), one of the Mediterranean’s most iconic bays. Swim, paddleboard, or relax on deck as the mountains rise around you. For those seeking a touch of adventure, optional paragliding from Babadağ Mountain offers unforgettable panoramic views across the lagoon and coastline.

In the afternoon, we anchor at St. Nicholas Island, a peaceful isle dotted with ancient Byzantine ruins and wild olive trees. Wander the island’s paths, visit the historic chapel, or enjoy a spectacular sunset from the hilltop — a highlight of the Lycian Coast.

Enjoy another freshly prepared dinner onboard under the stars, accompanied by the soft evening breeze and relaxed conversations.

Optional: Paragliding over Ölüdeniz for spectacular coastal views.
Don’t Miss: Sunset from St. Nicholas Church — a magical moment along the Lycian Way.
Pro Tip: Bring light shoes for the short island walk — the view from the top is well worth it.

Meals: Breakfast (at Butterfly Valley), Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Accommodation: Turkish Gulet

Wake to a calm sea and the aroma of fresh coffee as we cruise past Patara Beach, the longest and wildest stretch of sand on Türkiye’s Mediterranean coast. After breakfast on deck, we arrive in the charming harbour town of Kaş, a favourite stop along the Turquoise Coast.

Here you’ll have time to explore at your own pace — wander the cobblestone streets, browse artisan boutiques, or enjoy a Turkish coffee overlooking the marina. For those seeking gentle adventure, optional scuba diving is available; Kaş is widely known as Türkiye’s diving capital, offering clear visibility and colourful marine life.

After lunch onboard, we continue toward Kekova Island, home to the ancient Sunken City. Once part of the Lycian civilisation, its submerged walls, staircases, and foundations are still visible beneath the water. Swimming is not allowed here to preserve the site, but the view from the deck is unforgettable.

In the afternoon, we visit the picturesque Simena Village, a hillside settlement crowned by Simena Castle. A short walk to the top rewards you with panoramic views of turquoise bays and islets scattered across the horizon. Along the way, local families sell homemade ice cream and small handicrafts — a charming tradition unique to the region.

As the sun begins to set, we make our way to Gökkaya Bay, one of Kekova’s calmest and most scenic anchorages. The evening is peaceful — enjoy a glass of wine, unwind on deck, or watch the stars appear over the quiet water.

Optional: Scuba diving in Kaş or sea kayaking along Kekova’s coastline.
Don’t Miss: The panoramic view from Simena Castle — one of the Lycian Coast’s most iconic sights.
Pro Tip: Photograph the Sunken City around midday when the sunlight reveals its ancient stone outlines most clearly.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Accommodation: Turkish Gulet

Wake to another peaceful morning in Gökkaya Bay — the sun rising over calm turquoise water, fresh coffee on deck, and the gentle sounds of the sea around you. After breakfast, enjoy a morning swim or a quiet paddleboard session in the still light before we begin a relaxed sail toward Demre Harbour.

At Demre, our journey briefly intersects with the one-way routes. Guests completing the Fethiye → Olympos cruise will disembark, while new travellers joining from Olympos → Fethiye come aboard. The transition is smooth and friendly — new faces, fresh stories, and the same calm Sailnstay atmosphere continuing onward.

Once everyone is settled, we cruise past the small Pirates Cave, carved naturally into the cliffs, and stop at Turtle Beach for a refreshing swim. Keep an eye out for Caretta Caretta sea turtles — they are often seen gliding near the surface in this area.

In the afternoon, we anchor at Buzaglık Bay or Çamlık Bay, two quiet coves surrounded by pine forest and clear, calm water. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, relax on deck, take a swim, or unwind with a book as the coastline drifts by.

As evening approaches, dinner is served under the stars — a warm, peaceful night with gentle sea breezes and lantern light reflecting across the water.

Don’t Miss: Watching for sea turtles near Turtle Beach — they often surface beside the Gulet.
Pro Tip: After the guest exchange in Demre, take a moment to meet your new shipmates — each Sailnstay journey brings unique stories and connections.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Accommodation: Turkish Gulet

Wake to sunlight spilling across the cliffs of Hamidiye Bay — a peaceful start to the day with coffee in hand and the soft sound of the sea around you. After breakfast, our small service boat takes guests ashore for a short visit to Simena Village, a charming hilltop community crowned by Simena Castle. Wander its narrow stone paths, enjoy homemade ice cream, and take in sweeping views across the Kekova archipelago.

We continue cruising over the Sunken City of Kekova, an ancient Lycian settlement now resting beneath clear turquoise water. Its submerged stairways, walls, and terraces create a striking blend of history and nature. From here, we stop for a refreshing swim at Tersane Bay, once an ancient shipyard and now a calm, blue haven.

Depending on sea conditions, we anchor at Aperlai, İnönü, or Ufakdere Bay for a leisurely lunch. Each bay offers its own serene character — protected, quiet, and ideally suited to the unhurried pace of this cruise. Enjoy a swim, relax in the sun, or unwind on deck.

By afternoon, we arrive in Kaş, one of the coast’s most charming harbour towns. You’ll have free time to explore at your own pace — browse artisan boutiques, stroll cobbled streets, or enjoy a coffee by the water. For those seeking adventure, optional scuba diving is available; Kaş is known for some of the clearest and most colourful dive spots in the Mediterranean.

As the sun begins to set, we make a short sail to Limanağzı Bay or Hidayet Bay for the night. Enjoy a swim in the warm evening light before dinner is served on deck. The sea here glows beautifully at sunrise — a perfect farewell to the southern coast.

Optional: Scuba diving in Kaş — suitable for both beginners and certified divers.
Don’t Miss: The panoramic view from Simena Castle and a scoop of the village’s homemade ice cream.
Pro Tip: If you’re awake early, take a sunrise swim in Limanağzı — the colours are unforgettable.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Accommodation: Turkish Gulet

It’s your final full day at sea — beginning quietly as we cruise past Patara Beach, a golden stretch of untouched coastline that glows beautifully in the morning light. Enjoy coffee on deck as the sea gently carries us toward our first stop.

We anchor at Butterfly Valley for breakfast and a refreshing swim, surrounded by towering cliffs and hidden waterfalls. When the sea is calm, you may swim ashore or take a short walk along the base of the canyon for a closer look at this striking natural wonder.

By late morning, we sail into the world-famous Blue Lagoon (Ölüdeniz) — one of the Mediterranean’s most photographed bays. Swim, paddleboard, or relax in the warm shallows beneath dramatic mountains. For an unforgettable experience, optional paragliding from Babadağ Mountain offers sweeping aerial views of the lagoon and the surrounding coastline.

After lunch at Soguksu Bay or Camel Beach, the afternoon settles into an easy rhythm as we begin our return toward St. Nicholas Island. This peaceful bay, fringed by olive trees and ancient Byzantine ruins, is our final anchorage.

Spend the evening swimming, exploring the island by dinghy, or walking up to the chapel ruins for one of Türkiye’s most beautiful sunsets — a horizon of soft gold melting into deep Mediterranean blue.

Dinner is served onboard, accompanied by soft music and starlight — a warm, peaceful celebration of the journey you’ve shared.

Optional: Paragliding over Ölüdeniz or watersports near St. Nicholas Island.
Don’t Miss: Sunset from the top of St. Nicholas Church — a moment of pure calm and colour.
Pro Tip: Bring light shoes for the short island walk — the view makes the perfect farewell to the coast.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Accommodation: Turkish Gulet

Wake to the gentle sound of the sea one last time — soft waves against the hull, the aroma of morning coffee, and the warm light of a new day on deck. Your final day aboard unfolds at a leisurely, unhurried pace.

We begin with breakfast at Tarzan Bay, a quiet favourite among locals. Enjoy a final morning swim in its calm turquoise water, or relax on deck as the sunlight dances across the surface.

Late in the morning, we cruise toward Samanlık Bay and anchor for lunch. This sheltered cove offers your last chance to swim in the clear Mediterranean — a peaceful moment to take in the scenery and reflect on a week of unforgettable landscapes and gentle sailing.

By mid-afternoon, we make our final approach into Fethiye Harbour, arriving around 16:00. As the crew secures the Gulet, there’s time for farewells, photos, and warm goodbyes — new friends, shared stories, and memories of calm days on the Turquoise Coast that will stay with you long after you return home.

Don’t Miss: One last swim at Samanlık Bay — the light is beautiful just before lunch.
Pro Tip: Keep your swimsuit handy — there’s always time for one final dip before we dock.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Disembarkation: Fethiye Harbour ≈ 16:00

Everything you need to prepare for your cruise — pick-ups, meeting points, travel requirements, and onboard guidelines:

Our Gulet Fleet

You’ll be sailing on one of our handpicked Turkish wooden Gulets — traditional boats with chill social spaces, sunbeds for lounging, and a shaded dining area where the crew serves up fresh meals daily. Every Gulet has its own layout and charm, but they’re all in the same comfort class — clean, comfortable, and made for slow cruising. Your onboard crew (captain, chef, and deckhand) are pros at keeping things smooth, safe, and fun. Want a peek inside? → See Cabins Onboard

Sample images shown. Gulet layouts and styles may vary slightly by departure.

Cabins Onboard

Each cabin is private and ensuite, with a twin, double, triple, or quad bed, your own bathroom, and just enough space to keep things simple. It’s not luxury — it’s clean, compact, and precisely what you need after a full day in the sun. Some bathrooms have a wet-room layout where the shower and toilet share the same space, while others may include a curtain or small divider. We provide fresh bed linen and bath towels, but please bring your own beach towel for swimming and sunbathing.

Cabin layouts, sizes, and finishes may vary slightly depending on the Gulet. All cabins are in the same comfort class.

More on dietary options | More on water policy

Yes, we do.

Our Standard Mediterranean Menu (included) naturally supports vegetarian and pescetarian guests.

For guests requiring vegan, gluten-free, or more specific dietary preparation, we offer a Special Dietary Menu Upgrade. This allows us to source dedicated ingredients and prepare meals accordingly.

Please select your preference during booking so our team can prepare in advance. Dietary requests must be confirmed at least 72 hours before departure.

Kindly note that meals are prepared in a compact onboard galley, and while we take great care, cross-contamination cannot be fully guaranteed.

Yes — drinking water is provided during all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

To help reduce plastic waste onboard, we kindly ask guests to bring a reusable water bottle, which can be refilled throughout the day from shared water containers on the gulet.

Bottled water is not served between meals unless otherwise noted.

Couples would get their own cabin. Depending on your group breakdown, solo travellers will share and may be roomed in a twin, double, triple or quad cabin.

If you are a couple, please add a note during booking.

Accommodation in multi-share cabins is included on this trip. Depending on availability, you may upgrade to a private triple/twin/double ensuite cabin.

Yes, you can change your departure date, depending on availability. A small fee will apply and, if the new departure date is more expensive, this difference will also need to be paid. You may also transfer the money you have already paid over to another trip of the same or higher value, provided it is outside of the notification period.

To ensure you have enough room to move around your cabin, we recommend you bring a small to medium-sized suitcase or backpack.

Due to boat licensing laws, you are not able to bring your own alcohol on the vessel. However, well-priced drinks are available for you to purchase on board using a tab system, which needs to be paid the day you check-out.

On all of our gulet cruises, we offer a traditional Turkish breakfast, a vegetarian lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, which are included in the price.
We offer Jain, Vegetarian, Vegan, Halal and Kosher food options on request.
You are welcome to bring extra snacks for the journey. Drinks can only be purchased on board on a tab basis, paid on the day you disembark.

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring your own drinks on board (including water) but you can bring your own snacks, such as peanuts, crisps, biscuits etc.

Bar Payments: Please keep in mind that you will need to have cash available to cover any expenses at the bar during the trip. The bar payments will be settled on the final day of the journey. It is possible that there won’t be any ATMs available at the ports, so it is best to plan accordingly. However, do not worry about withdrawing cash at the outset as there are ATMs in Kas Port town that will become accessible on the second day of the journey.

Some boats have power sockets in the cabins while other vessels only have them only in the salon area. The power sockets can be used when the engine or generator is on.

Beach Towels not provided: Please be advised that we do not provide beach towels on board. We kindly request that you bring your own towels for use at the beach. While bath towels are available, they should not be used for the beach. Please note that shops selling towels are easily found in every town throughout Turkey.

Gulet boats have limited energy resources, which is why it’s recommended to limit the use of air conditioning to 4-6 hours per day. This will help conserve fuel and optimize the efficiency of the boat. It will also extend the lifespan of the generator and support eco-friendly practices by relying on natural ventilation. Running the generator at night can be quite noisy and disruptive to other passengers. Therefore, it’s important to strike a balance between guest comfort and environmental responsibility.

Yes! If you book all 16 spots, the Gulet becomes completely private for your group.

The total boat price is shown in the pricing table under “Private Use – Whole Boat.”

That means:

  • No other guests
  • Same epic route
  • Same crew
  • Just your crew onboard 😉

To make the cruise exclusive, all 16 berths need to be booked.
If you’re a smaller group and want full privacy, you can still book the whole boat at the total private price.
