Trip Itinerary

Your family adventure begins at the SAILNSTAY Fethiye Office at 14:00, where our friendly crew welcomes you on board and helps everyone get settled in their cabins. After a short safety briefing and some cold refreshments, we set sail from Fethiye Harbour at 14:30, heading out into the calm, clear waters of the Mediterranean.

Our first stop is Samanlik Bay or Red Island (Kizilada) — the perfect introduction to life at sea. Kids can take their first dip in turquoise water while parents relax on deck with a view of Fethiye’s green hills. The Gulet’s safe swimming ladders and easy access make it ideal for families of all ages.

By late afternoon, we cruise toward Boncuklu Bay or Tarzan Bay, two peaceful coves surrounded by pine trees. Enjoy your first sunset together as the sky turns gold and the sea glows softly. Dinner is served on board, followed by an early, peaceful night under the stars — the sea breeze and gentle waves will lull everyone to sleep.

Family Tip: Bring floaties or snorkel sets — the first swim stop is a fun, calm place to get comfortable in the water.
Don’t Miss: Watching the sunset together from the front deck — it’s the start of a wonderful family journey.

Meals: Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Accommodation: Turkish Gulet

Wake up to the sound of gentle waves and sunshine peeking over the mountains — the perfect start to your first full day at sea. While breakfast is served on deck, we sail toward Butterfly Valley, one of the most beautiful spots on the Lycian Coast.

After breakfast, it’s time for a swim or a short trip ashore. Families can take the tender to the beach, explore the sandy shore, or follow the path a little way into the canyon to spot butterflies and small waterfalls. It’s a calm, safe bay that’s perfect for children to enjoy the water.

By late morning, we cruise to the famous Blue Lagoon (Oludeniz) — calm, shallow, and ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, or simply floating beside the boat. Parents can unwind on deck while the crew keeps an eye on the little ones. For families with older kids, paragliding from Babadag Mountain is available as an optional adventure — a gentle glide with unforgettable views.

In the afternoon, we anchor at St. Nicholas Island, a peaceful bay surrounded by ancient Byzantine ruins. Take the dinghy ashore for a short walk to explore the old chapel and enjoy one of the best sunsets on the Mediterranean. Dinner is served onboard as the sky turns from pink to deep blue — a calm evening for stories, laughter, and a night under the stars.

Family Tip: The walk on St. Nicholas Island is short but uphill — bring comfy shoes for little feet.
Don’t Miss: The sunset view from the top of the island — it’s magical for the whole family.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Accommodation: Turkish Gulet

Wake to calm seas and the gentle hum of the Gulet as it glides eastward along one of the most beautiful stretches of the Turquoise Coast. Breakfast is served on deck while passing Patara Beach, a golden ribbon of untouched sand that stretches for kilometres — wild, natural, and endlessly photogenic.

By mid-morning, we arrive in Kas, a charming harbour town filled with cobbled lanes, whitewashed houses, and flowering balconies. Families can stroll through the local shops, explore the small marina, or relax with an ice cream by the sea. For parents or older teens, optional scuba diving is available — Kas is known for calm, clear water and beginner-friendly dive sites.

After lunch onboard, we sail toward Kekova Island, passing slowly over the Sunken City, an ancient Lycian settlement now lying just beneath the surface. The ruins — old walls, steps, and doorways — can be clearly seen from the deck, sparking curiosity in travellers of all ages.

In the afternoon, we visit Simena Village, a peaceful coastal hamlet crowned by Simena Castle. The short walk to the top is rewarded with spectacular views over turquoise bays and the Kekova archipelago. Along the path, local women sell handmade ice cream — a sweet Sailnstay memory for kids and parents alike.

As the day ends, we anchor in Gökkaya Bay, a calm, sheltered spot surrounded by forested hills. Enjoy a refreshing swim before dinner, followed by a quiet evening on deck under a blanket of stars — the perfect close to another day of family adventure at sea.

Family Tip: Bring snorkel masks — the water around Kekova is shallow and full of small fish.
Don’t Miss: The walk to Simena Castle and the family photo from the top — one of the week’s best memories.
Pro Tip: Have your camera ready as you sail over the Sunken City — the midday light reveals every ancient stone below.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Five o’clock Tea, Dinner
Accommodation: Turkish Gulet

Your final morning unfolds slowly — the sea calm, the air warm, and breakfast served fresh on deck as the Gulet glides toward Pirates Cave. The captain shares a few lighthearted stories and local legends of the Lycian coast — a fun moment for children and adults alike as the sunlight dances on the turquoise water.

We continue sailing toward Camli Bay, known for its crystal-clear water and gentle shallows, perfect for one last family swim. Afterward, enjoy a relaxed lunch on board while soaking up the final views of the Mediterranean.

As we cruise past Turtle Beach, keep an eye out for Caretta Caretta sea turtles — they’re often seen swimming gracefully beside the Gulet. It’s a magical sight that always brings smiles to faces of all ages.

By early afternoon, we reach Demre Harbour (Andriake) around 13:00, marking the end of your three-night journey of sailing, swimming, and discovery. After warm farewells to your crew, a free shuttle transfer to Olympos is provided. For families continuing their adventure, private transfers can be arranged to Antalya, Kas, Fethiye, or even Cappadocia — all easily connected routes for your next chapter through Turkiye.

Family Tip: Keep cameras ready — sea turtles often appear near the surface as you approach Demre.
Don’t Miss: The moment your Gulet sails past the coastline in the morning light — it’s the perfect family photo backdrop.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Disembarkation: Demre Harbour (~13:00) → Free Shuttle to Olympos

Yes! We can cater to most dietary needs such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and more.

When booking, you can select your dietary preference from the options listed.
If your diet is not listed, simply add a note in the reservation comments box or email us after booking.

Some special diets like gluten-free or vegan may require hard-to-find ingredients in Turkey. In these cases, a small surcharge may apply — we’ll inform you before the trip.

The more detail you give us, the better we can prepare delicious meals for your cruise.

Yes — drinking water is provided during all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

To help reduce plastic waste onboard, we kindly ask guests to bring a reusable water bottle, which can be refilled throughout the day from shared water containers on the gulet.

Bottled water is not served between meals unless otherwise noted.

Couples would get their own cabin. Depending on your group breakdown, solo travellers will share and may be roomed in a twin, double, triple or quad cabin.

If you are a couple, please add a note during booking.

Accommodation in multi-share cabins is included on this trip. Depending on availability, you may upgrade to a private triple/twin/double ensuite cabin.

Yes, you can change your departure date, depending on availability. A small fee will apply and, if the new departure date is more expensive, this difference will also need to be paid. You may also transfer the money you have already paid over to another trip of the same or higher value, provided it is outside of the notification period.

To ensure you have enough room to move around your cabin, we recommend you bring a small to medium-sized suitcase or backpack.

Due to boat licensing laws, you are not able to bring your own alcohol on the vessel. However, well-priced drinks are available for you to purchase on board using a tab system, which needs to be paid the day you check-out.

On all of our gulet cruises, we offer a traditional Turkish breakfast, a vegetarian lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, which are included in the price.
We offer Jain, Vegetarian, Vegan, Halal and Kosher food options on request.
You are welcome to bring extra snacks for the journey. Drinks can only be purchased on board on a tab basis, paid on the day you disembark.

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring your own drinks on board (including water) but you can bring your own snacks, such as peanuts, crisps, biscuits etc.

Bar Payments: Please keep in mind that you will need to have cash available to cover any expenses at the bar during the trip. The bar payments will be settled on the final day of the journey. It is possible that there won’t be any ATMs available at the ports, so it is best to plan accordingly. However, do not worry about withdrawing cash at the outset as there are ATMs in Kas Port town that will become accessible on the second day of the journey.

Some boats have power sockets in the cabins while other vessels only have them only in the salon area. The power sockets can be used when the engine or generator is on.

Beach Towels not provided: Please be advised that we do not provide beach towels on board. We kindly request that you bring your own towels for use at the beach. While bath towels are available, they should not be used for the beach. Please note that shops selling towels are easily found in every town throughout Turkey.

Gulet boats have limited energy resources, which is why it’s recommended to limit the use of air conditioning to 4-6 hours per day. This will help conserve fuel and optimize the efficiency of the boat. It will also extend the lifespan of the generator and support eco-friendly practices by relying on natural ventilation. Running the generator at night can be quite noisy and disruptive to other passengers. Therefore, it’s important to strike a balance between guest comfort and environmental responsibility.

Yes! If you book all 16 spots, the Gulet becomes completely private for your group.

The total boat price is shown in the pricing table under “Private Use – Whole Boat.”

That means:

  • No other guests
  • Same epic route
  • Same crew
  • Just your crew onboard 😉

To make the cruise exclusive, all 16 berths need to be booked.
If you’re a smaller group and want full privacy, you can still book the whole boat at the total private price.
